Beijing ATP 500 Quarterfinals Set

Four quarterfinalists have been confirmed at the ATP Beijing Open 500 after second round matches were completed on Thursday. Former World No. 1 Andy Murray was among those to reach the last eight after a hard-fought victory over Alexander Bublik.

Djokovic, Zverev, Medvedev, Tsitsipas Through

Top seed Novak Djokovic, third seed Alexander Zverev, fourth seed Daniil Medvedev, and fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas had all progressed to the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Murray, playing in his first tournament since the US Open, showed great resilience to come from a set down and beat Bublik 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The Scot will face Zverev in the quarterfinals, a rematch of their US Open semifinal which Zverev won in straight sets.

Other Quarterfinalists

The other two quarterfinalists are Cristian Garin and John Isner. Garin, the eighth seed, defeated Tommy Paul 6-2, 6-3, while Isner, the 10th seed, beat Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-3, 7-6 (7).
