Templeton announces call for nominations for 2024 Citizen and Business of the Year

Templeton community celebrates outstanding individuals and businesses

The Templeton community is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Citizen and Business of the Year awards. These prestigious awards recognize individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the Templeton community.

The Citizen of the Year award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer service and dedication to the Templeton community. The Business of the Year award is given to a business that has made a significant contribution to the economic vitality of the Templeton community.

Nomination process

Nominations for the 2024 Citizen and Business of the Year awards are now being accepted. Nominations can be submitted online at the Templeton Chamber of Commerce website or by mail to the Templeton Chamber of Commerce. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2024.

A selection committee comprised of members of the Templeton community will review the nominations and select the winners. The winners will be announced at the Templeton Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner on May 10, 2024.

Award criteria

The Citizen of the Year award is given to an individual who has:

• Demonstrated outstanding volunteer service to the Templeton community
• Made a significant contribution to the quality of life in Templeton
• Been a positive role model for the Templeton community

The Business of the Year award is given to a business that has:

• Made a significant contribution to the economic vitality of the Templeton community
• Created jobs in Templeton
• Been a good corporate citizen
